frequently asked questions

do you take insurance?

Yes! I am currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement but it would be best to check first to know your out of network benefits.

where do in-person sessions take place?

Ecotherapy sessions are located in Ballard, WA.

how long does therapy take?

It is difficult to estimate how long therapy will last as it varies based on so many different factors. The assessment process can take 1-2 sessions for individual sessions and at least three sessions for relational sessions. Some goals can be accomplished in a relatively small number of sessions while other goals may take significantly longer. If you have a certain expectations about how many sessions/how long you will be in therapy, it is important to discuss this in the first session and as treatment goals are being collaboratively created to ensure the goals are attainable.

do you offer a sliding scale?

I offer a limited number of reduced rate slots to help make therapy more affordable. If you would like to work with me but are unable to pay the full session rates, please reach out!
