relational therapy

New Moon Ecotherapy is an inclusive practice that honors, supports, and advocates for diverse people and relationships. LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, polyamorous, and all other relationships are welcome. We live in a culture that generally does not adequately prepare us to start and maintain strong healthy relationships. In fact, there are many messages and assumptions made about relationships based on societal pressures that we may not even have the chance to challenge. Relational therapy is about honoring where you and your partner(s) are at and helping facilitate a transition to where you want your relationship to be. Some of the common reasons people seek relational therapy are:

   Sex and intimacy concerns

Feeling disconnected/lack of an emotional connection

   Communication challenges

   Difficulty navigating conflict

   Feeling stuck

Difficulty navigating life changes and transitions

   Relationship enrichment

   Premarital/commitment therapy

I wish to acknowledge the sovereignty of the indigenous custodians of the land on which my psychotherapy practice New Moon Ecotherapy PLLC and my home are currently residing and their Elders past and present, which, as I am situated in what colonizers call “Washington,” includes the Duwamish, Coast Salish, Suquamish, sdukʷalbixʷ (Snoqualmie), Stillaguamish, Snohomish, S’Klallam, Quileute, Queets, Quinault, Qʷidiččaʔa•tx̌ (Makah), Squaxin, Nisqually, Nuxwsa’7aq (Nooksack), Semiahmoo, and the ChalAt’i’lo t’sikAti (Chalat’). I invite you to learn more and make a donation to support the return of their land and culture. I invite residents of Seattle to consider paying rent to the Duwamish Nation as an act of solidarity and step toward justice: https://www.realrentduwamish.org/
